You reach the person who prices fleets this size, and the written scope follows that call.
Global Document Solutions works out a monthly figure for one printer from three short steps, and emails it with toner and servicing in it.
- 5.0 Google rating, from 150+ five star reviews
- Since 2010 Australian owned, based in Queensland
- 500+ Australian businesses supplied and serviced

How does the managed print calculator work?
3 steps in the form, then 2 things happen on our side.
- Choose how many offices you run, and roughly how many printers.
- Choose the pages one printer prints a month, the agreement length and any finishing extras.
- Enter your name, work email and phone.
- Our server works out the monthly figure for one printer at that volume.
- The figure arrives by email, and we call within 24 hours.
Your busiest office makes a good first answer for the volume.
Each office then gets its own figure in writing, after the call.
Nothing in the form asks for toner prices or cartridge yields.
Those costs are ours under the agreement.
Rough counts are fine at every step.
Every answer can be changed with Back before you press Price my fleet.

Which printer does each monthly volume suit?
Seven volumes, matched to five machines.
2,500 pages a month is priced on a Kyocera M8124CIDN.
5,000 and 7,500 pages share the TASKalfa MZ2501ci.
10,000 and 12,500 pages share the TASKalfa MZ3501ci.
20,000 pages moves up to the MZ4001ci, and 30,000 to the MZ5001ci.
How many cartons of paper is each volume?
About 1 carton for every 2,500 pages printed on one side.
Per the Officeworks listing, a carton of Reflex A4 holds 5 reams of 500 sheets.
Each volume then reads as boxes.
| Pages a month | Cartons | Machine |
|---|---|---|
| 2,500 | 1 | M8124CIDN |
| 5,000 | 2 | MZ2501ci |
| 7,500 | 3 | MZ2501ci |
| 10,000 | 4 | MZ3501ci |
| 12,500 | 5 | MZ3501ci |
| 20,000 | 8 | MZ4001ci |
| 30,000 | 12 | MZ5001ci |
Printing on both sides halves the cartons, while the page count stays the same.
The form names the machine as soon as you choose a volume.
Your written quote confirms the device for each office after the call.
If you are not sure of your volume, choose Not sure yet and the form uses 2,500 pages.
What goes into the monthly figure?
The machine, the pages you chose, and the service that keeps it printing.
Every figure starts with a supplied printer matched to your volume, and the pages you chose each month are part of it too.
Toner and parts come with it, along with labour and servicing.
We watch each printer's toner, and you get an update when one runs low.
A fault at a capital city office generally sees a technician within 4 hours.
In a regional town, the visit is generally the next business day.
The technician who attends comes from an authorised dealer or the manufacturer.
Every office's figure lands on 1 invoice, with a report for each site.
The three published plans are set out in the plan table with pages per month.
The agreement as a whole is explained in the agreement that covers every office in the group.
Printers are serviced across Australia.
What does the figure leave out?
Paper, extra pages, and anything you add after the call.
- Paper, which you buy for each office.
- Pages past the monthly volume you chose.
- Optional extras you add when the quote is written.
Rates for pages past your volume are stated in the written quote, and each location is normally charged the same.
Staples for a stapling finisher are bought separately too.
Printers your business already owns cannot join the agreement.
Each office gets a supplied printer instead, priced on its own volume.
The emailed figure is a guide for one printer.
Your written quote then prices every office separately, after the call.
The clauses that set each office's end date are covered in the renewal clauses finance should read first.
Card or code release at the printer is an optional extra, with its cost in the quote.
Should you choose 5 years or 4 years?
5 years gives the lower monthly figure. 4 years ends a year sooner.
| Term | What it means |
|---|---|
| 5 years | Spread over 60 months. The lower monthly figure. Where the calculator starts. |
| 4 years | Spread over 48 months. A higher monthly figure. Ends a year sooner. |
The calculator starts on 5 years, as the operator's own calculator does.
Pick 4 years if your offices expect to move or refit within five.
Pick 5 years if the lowest monthly figure matters most to finance.
A new office can join the same agreement later on.
Its printer changes the monthly figure, and the end date can stay or extend.
Before choosing a term, see how many current leases end in the next few years.
To bring your main problem to the call, run the seven question print check.
Offices move across one at a time, each as its current agreement ends.
Ask for both terms on the call to see the two figures side by side.
Three answers, one figure per printer
It comes by email, and a call follows within 24 hours.
Why does this calculator skip toner prices?
Because under the agreement, toner is our cost to carry.
Hunter Office Technology's cost per page calculator asks for a cartridge's price and how many pages its maker says it prints.
According to Officeworks' guide to cost per page, that figure is the cartridge price divided by its yield.
Page yield is measured to an international ISO standard, according to the same guide.
Across 8 offices that means a cartridge price and a yield for every printer you run, office by office.
According to Kyocera Document Solutions Australia's printing cost guide, running costs add up on top of the purchase price.
In its words, “These other printing costs can be two to three times your original investment.”
Here the toner is in the figure.
Nobody looks up a cartridge price again.
A wider set of levers is in seven ways to cut printing costs across offices.
The plan's pages are in the figure, and any past them carry the excess rate in your quote.
What happens after the figure arrives?
A call within 24 hours, then a written quote for every office.
We call to confirm your offices and the printers in each one.
Before you commit, each site's current cost is reviewed on its own.
That review is described in what gets checked at each office before a decision.
Standard plans are then tailored to each office, and billing can be arranged to suit.
Quoting one office at a time works too.
The emailed figure stays a guide until that written quote replaces it.
A group of two to four offices can use the form too.
A group with 8 offices gets 8 lines, one per site, on a single quote.
From $160 + GST a month per printer.
Standard plans, tailored to your fleet. Excess page rates are stated in your quote and are normally the same at every location.
Paper, staples and pages above your agreed volume sit outside that figure.
