A Brisbane head office, and the branches in other states

Billing is per page, at the published Australian mono rate of 1.2 to 3.5 cents.

Managed print services, or MPS, covers the devices, the toner and the servicing at that rate.

The workshop is at Bethania, and every technician who attends works for our sister service company.

Written for organisations with a Queensland head office and offices elsewhere.

This page explains what changes across the border, and what does not.

Ask any supplier the question we get asked here: “Who turns up at my Ipswich branch, and who pays them?”

Price the Ipswich branch before you ask anyone

What the Bethania workshop does

It runs the agreement, the rate card and the ticket queue, for every address on your fleet.

That is true of a Brisbane site and of a Perth one.

An escalation stays inside the state it was raised in, in all eight.

The technician who attends works for our sister service company, here and at every other address.

Toner and other consumables are shipped on a monitoring alert rather than ordered by a branch.

What being based in Queensland changes, and what it does not

It does not change the clock, and we do not quote a faster one for the sites that happen to be near us.

What it changes is which building answers for the contract, and that building answers for every state.

Every address we cover

A technician on site the next business day

Brisbane tower or regional branch, the same commitment

And behind that commitment, in all eight

One workshop runs the agreement

Bethania sets your rates, holds the scope and answers for every address on it, whichever state that address is in.

Escalation stays in its own state

A Brisbane fault and a Perth fault each stay inside their own state rather than joining one national queue.

The clock is the same everywhere, so we do not pretend otherwise. Queensland has the building the contract is run from. It does not have a different kind of technician, and neither does anywhere else.

Which Brisbane and Ipswich suburbs are covered

All of them.

The 21 named below are the two corridors we can say something specific about, because they print very differently from each other.

A suburb missing from that list is covered on exactly the same terms.

Some suppliers call the same agreement managed print solutions in Brisbane, which is what this page describes.

The Brisbane and Ipswich corridor, and where the workshop sits on it Eight centres along the Ipswich corridor from Redbank out to Fernvale, mostly lighter industrial and mono printing. Thirteen suburbs across Brisbane inner and west from Indooroopilly to Chermside, where colour runs above the office average. The workshop that runs the agreement sits at Bethania, south of the city. THE CORRIDOR THIS PAGE IS BUILT ON 8 centres Ipswich corridor Redbank to Fernvale industrial, mostly mono 13 suburbs Brisbane inner and west Indooroopilly to Chermside colour above the average THE WORKSHOP Bethania, QLD 4205
The two ends of this corridor print differently. Colour ratios on the Brisbane side move the monthly figure more than the device choice does, and the Ipswich side is mostly mono, which is why one pooled rate suits the pair better than two arrangements do.

Brisbane inner and west, 13 of them named

Indooroopilly, Taringa, St Lucia, Kenmore, Chapel Hill, Brookfield and Bardon.

Ashgrove, Auchenflower, Milton, Graceville, Oxley and Chermside.

This is the corridor the page was written around.

It is a university, hospital and professional services corridor.

In practice that means a lot of secure print and a lot of scanning.

Print security and document management matter more here than raw speed does.

Colour ratios here run above the office average.

That matters more to the monthly figure than the device choice does.

On the published ranges, colour costs roughly 4 times what mono costs.

The 13 suburbs above are named because the page can describe what prints in them.

They are examples of the cover rather than a boundary around it.

Every other Brisbane suburb is covered on the same terms and at the same rate band.

Scanning volume matters here as much as printing does, because a scan to file replaces a page nobody now prints.

A device specified without asking about that ends up oversized for what the site actually does.

The Ipswich corridor, 8 of them named

Ipswich, Redbank, Redbank Plains and Springfield Lakes.

Bellbird Park, Augustine Heights, Carole Park and out to Fernvale.

Lighter industrial and logistics work, and mostly mono.

A4 mono devices carry most of the print volumes on that corridor.

A lot of organisations here have Brisbane and Ipswich sites on completely different arrangements.

Nobody decided that.

It happened one signature at a time.

Why there is no page per suburb

We could publish thirty near identical pages, one for each named suburb, and rank for all of them.

It would be the same page with the name swapped, which helps nobody choosing a supplier.

When we can say something true and specific about a suburb, it gets its own page.

Until then it sits here.

From $160 + GST a month per device.

Volume is pooled across every site, so a larger fleet prices into a lower band.

Paper, staples and pages above your agreed volume sit outside that figure.

What happens to your sites outside Queensland

Four things stay identical and two change, and the two that change are not the ones people expect.

Buyers usually expect the interstate sites to be the difficult part of the agreement.

In practice they are the part that needs the least explaining, because the terms do not move.

What does move is how far the attending technician sits from the office running the work.

That distance is carried by the service company rather than added to your rate.

The second change is which addresses hold a single technician as their dependency.

Those are named at the quote, in writing, for every state your fleet reaches.

You hear that before you sign rather than after the first breakdown.

It is worth more than an uptime figure nobody has published the evidence for.

Four things stay identical

The rate card, the ticket queue, the monthly report and the attendance commitment.

All 4 are identical.

A Sydney or Melbourne branch runs on the identical rate card as your Brisbane head office.

Volume is pooled across the fleet rather than priced per site.

Per the published Australian ranges that pooling is worth more than any negotiation on the rate itself.

One meter read covers every address, so there is one set of numbers rather than 8 sets nobody reconciles.

One invoice arrives each month, whatever the fleet is spread across.

One escalation path applies, and it ends at the office in Queensland rather than at a state manager.

That is a single point of contact for the whole print fleet.

None of that depends on which state an address sits in.

A branch opened in year 2 joins the same 4 things on the day it opens.

It does not start a new agreement or a new renewal date.

One thing changes, and it is not the clock

How far the attending technician sits from the office managing the work.

That, and nothing else.

In every state, this one included, the person attending works for our sister service company.

Dispatched by us, reported through our system, and never on our payroll.

We say the same thing on the Sydney page.

The second change is depth, meaning how many of that company’s technicians sit within reach of an address.

Across Brisbane and Ipswich we usually hold 3 or more.

At a single site town in another state it can be 1.

The written commitment does not move with it, and neither does the rate.

What moves is how much slack sits behind the commitment on a bad week.

That is the honest measure, and it is the one this site publishes instead of a map.

Every address in Australia is covered, on the same terms, whatever the depth behind it.

How a Queensland site differs from one in any other state

Six rows.

According to the way we actually run it, all 6 read the same in both columns.

That is the point of printing the table rather than an accident of it.

  1. The fault is logged at any hour, by the site or by the device itself
  2. It enters 1 queue, whichever of your states it came from
  3. The same service company attends on the next business day, whichever state the site is in
  4. The site closes the ticket, not us

Per the CopierChoice Australia Printer and Copier Cost Benchmark Report 2025.

Mono pages run 1.2 to 3.5 cents and colour pages 7 to 13 cents.

That rate does not change when a site crosses the border, and neither does a single row in the table above.

Three paper drawers and a high capacity side deck at the base of a Kyocera multifunction printer
The drawers on a Brisbane device are loaded and serviced on exactly the same terms as one in Hobart. Being near the workshop changes the drive, not the agreement.

What Queensland buyers ask before they sign

Do you have your own technicians in Brisbane?

No, not in Queensland and not anywhere else.

Every Brisbane and Ipswich address is attended by our sister service company.

We dispatch it, manage the ticket and pay it, exactly as we do interstate.

What Queensland has is the office that holds the agreement.

That office sets the rates and runs the ticket queue for the whole country.

An escalation raised in Queensland is resolved inside Queensland.

That holds for a Brisbane site and a Perth one alike.

That one company covers every address in Australia, so 20 minutes from the workshop changes the drive, not the agreement.

The attendance term is the same next business day at a Milton floor and at a Kalgoorlie branch.

What Queensland genuinely gives you is the office that holds the contract and runs the ticket queue.

An escalation raised here is answered here, on Brisbane time, for a fleet in any state.

That is a difference in who you deal with, not a difference in who attends.

Which Brisbane and Ipswich suburbs do you cover?

Brisbane inner and west, then the Ipswich corridor.

Indooroopilly, Kenmore, Taringa, St Lucia, Graceville, Ashgrove and Chermside.

Milton, Chapel Hill, Oxley, Auchenflower, Bardon and Brookfield.

Then Redbank, Redbank Plains, Springfield Lakes and Fernvale.

Bellbird Park, Augustine Heights and Carole Park sit on the same corridor.

Send us the addresses and we confirm each one before you sign.

Every Brisbane and Ipswich address is covered. The 21 suburbs named here are the corridors we can be specific about.

They are examples of the cover rather than its edge.

A buyer in a suburb we have not named is on exactly the same terms as one in a suburb we have.

Send the full address list and each entry is confirmed in writing before you sign.

That confirmation names the device at each site as well as the attendance term against it.

What happens to our sites outside Queensland?

They sit on the same agreement and the same rate card.

They enter the same ticket queue and carry the same attendance commitment.

They appear on the same monthly report.

There is no difference at all.

The technician who attends works for our sister service company at every address we cover.

Volume from those addresses is pooled with the Queensland volume rather than counted state by state.

That pooling is what moves a multi site fleet into a lower rate band.

A Perth branch and a Brisbane head office appear on one invoice and one monthly report.

According to the published Australian ranges, pooled volume moves more money than any negotiation on the headline rate.

No single branch can pull that lever on its own, which is why it is usually still sitting there.

Tell us where your Queensland sites are

And the interstate ones.

You get back a written scope, with the device we would put at each address.

And the rates that apply at your volume.
